Political thoughts is of the highest types of thought.

Political thought is that which is concerned with taking care of the affairs of the Ummah. The highest level of Political thought is that which is related to man and the world from a particular point of view.

Islam is complete and comprehensive addressing all aspects of life accurately.

Translated meaning of the Qu’ran

And we have revealed to you the book explaining all matters. [An-Nahl:89]

Politics or Siyasa is looking after the affairs internally and externally of the Ummah(Muslim Nation). It is carried out by the state and the ummah. The state is the entity that engages in this caring while the Ummah engages in it by taking the state to task.

Referenced to Al-Hakim’s mustadarak, Allah’s messenger Muhammed (peace be upon him) said:

من أصبح وهمه غير الله فليس من الله في شيء، ومن لم يهتم للمسلمين فليس منهم

“Whoever awakens and his concern is not for Allah, he does not belong to Allah.” And, “Whoever awakens not concerned with Muslims is not from them.”

[Narrated by ibn Masud, Al-Hakim]
In order to carry a political thought news and events must be pursued, this would require patience. The muslim Ummah must nuture pursuance of events.
