“We’re trying to move beyond copying what nature does,” Dabiri said. “What is going to move the field forward today is understanding the animals — for instance jellyfish and how they swim — and then rather than copying the jellyfish as a whole,

we take design principles from the jellyfish and merge them with submarine design.”

Nothing i can see chooses its design or its place in a system be it  a water cycle or any other yet it’s perfectly placed.
